This motel was great. So reasonable, so close to the slopes, a real human called me back when I needed to change our room type, hot shower, fresh linens, wifi, fridge, microwave, self-entry, park in front of your door, just right overnight stay.
We had a great stay at the Mountain Brook Lodge for our snowboarding trip. The room we stayed in was newly renovated, very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The lodge is conveniently located near restaurants and snow sports and there is plenty of parking available. The owner Benjamin was very nice and communicative. We look forward to visiting again in the future!
Very nice place. Convenient to whiteface mountains. Clean, comfortable beds, water pressure great, no clogs in the shower. Walking distance to stores around. Easy getting in and out, plenty of parking
We had a fantastic stay! Affordable and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. Clean and updated rooms. Check in and check out were very seamless and Benjamin was an excellent host willing to help in any way needed. Location is spectacular with a variety of dining experiences and proximity to skiing, hiking, and the town beach.

The owners are wonderful! They were so welcoming and accommodating. They really care about their guests and take the time to chat and make recommendations. They have many repeat guests and it’s easy to see why. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It had a small fridge, microwave, AC and plenty of plush towels. They are pet friendly and shower them with kindness too. The continental breakfast (included in stay) had so many options. We will definitely be back. My little one told Al and Alicia they were “unforgettable” and they really are.
We stayed at the Mountain Brook Lodge last weekend, & it was everything we could have asked for! The room was beautiful & cozy (We especially loved the fireplace!), the parking lot was impeccably plowed, we were close to a couple of great restaurants (we ordered from both Fratelli Pizza & The Twisted Raven), & it was just a quick drive (~35 minutes) to Poke-o-Moonshine.The owners were also super reasonable when I had to reschedule a few weeks back. We have our eyes on more mountains, so we'll definitely be back!
We had a packed schedule exploring Lake Placid and just needed a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place to spend the night. Mountain Brook Lodge was a perfect fit — great value for money, very neat and tidy, and equipped with all the essentials: a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee machine. We also appreciated the convenient keyless entry using door codes, which made check-in and check-out hassle-free. We’d definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lake Placid!
